# Item list matching

> See how RFP line items match against your price list.

The Item List tab displays all products and services requested in the RFP, organized by category, alongside your matching price list items.

## What the item list shows

The AI extracts individual line items from the RFP documents and groups them by category (e.g., frozen foods, dairy, beverages). For each RFP item, the system searches your price list for matching products.

## Understanding match quality

Each item displays a match quality indicator:

* **Strong match** -- your price list contains a product that closely matches the RFP item
* **Partial match** -- a related product exists in your price list but may not be an exact fit
* **No match** -- no corresponding product was found in your price list

## Improving match results

If important items show no match or partial match, take these steps:

1. Review your [price list](/knowledge-base/price-list) to ensure it is complete and up to date
2. Add missing products to your price list
3. Re-run the analysis by clicking **Re-qualify** on the Summary tab

  A comprehensive and current price list is the most effective way to improve item matching accuracy and your overall fit score.
