# RFP summary and fit score

> Understand your AI-generated analysis: cover sheet, fit score, and item matching.

The Summary tab is the primary view for your analyzed RFPs. It presents an AI-generated overview of the opportunity including a cover sheet, fit score, match indicator, and item matching table.

## Navigating to the summary

From your **RFP Library**, click any analyzed RFP row. The folder detail page opens with the **Summary** tab selected by default.

## Cover sheet

The cover sheet is an AI-generated executive summary organized into these sections:

<Accordion title="RFP identification">
  The title, solicitation ID, issuing agency, contact information, and portal details for the RFP.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Timeline">
  Key dates including the posted date, due date, Q\&A deadlines, and any other milestone dates extracted from the documents.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Scope of work">
  A summary of what the RFP is requesting, including the types of products or services, delivery locations, and contract duration.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Submission requirements">
  Instructions for how to submit a response, including required forms, certifications, formatting requirements, and delivery method.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Other considerations">
  Additional details such as evaluation criteria, set-aside requirements, insurance minimums, and any special conditions.
</Accordion>

## Fit score

The fit score is a composite score from 0 to 100% that indicates how well the opportunity matches your organization's capabilities.

The score considers:

* **Match percentage** -- how many of the RFP's line items match products in your price list
* **Potential value** -- the estimated contract value
* **Requirements met** -- how many requirements your organization can satisfy

Color coding helps you quickly assess the result:

* **Green** (70-100%) -- good fit, worth pursuing
* **Yellow** (40-69%) -- moderate fit, review details before deciding
* **Red** (0-39%) -- poor fit, likely not a match for your capabilities

<Tip>
  Improve your fit score by keeping your [price list](/knowledge-base/price-list) current and adding [custom requirements](/knowledge-base/custom-requirements) that reflect your organization's capabilities.
</Tip>

## Match indicator

The match indicator shows what percentage of the RFP's requested items match products in your price list. This is displayed as a percentage alongside the fit score.

<Note>
  The match indicator and item match table are available in Full mode only. In Discover mode, the summary shows the fit score and cover sheet without item-level matching.
</Note>

## Value estimator

The value estimator provides an estimate of the total contract value based on the quantities and pricing extracted from the RFP documents. This helps you prioritize high-value opportunities.

## Item match table

The item match table shows a side-by-side comparison of:

* **RFP items** -- the products or services requested in the solicitation
* **Your items** -- the matching products from your price list
* **Match score** -- how closely each pair matches

This table helps you understand which products you can offer and where gaps exist.

## Additional actions

* **Re-qualify** -- click this button to re-run the AI analysis. This is useful after updating your price list or knowledge base.
* **Download as PDF** -- export the cover sheet and summary as a PDF for offline review or sharing.
