# Welcome

Saccharo AI is an intelligent platform built for food service procurement teams. It automates the process of finding, analyzing, and qualifying Requests for Proposals (RFPs) so you can focus on winning the opportunities that matter most.

## How Saccharo works

Saccharo AI follows a three-step workflow to help you go from discovery to decision:

    Browse RFPs from public procurement portals. Search, filter, and sort to find opportunities relevant to your business. New RFPs are added daily from sources across all 50 states.

    Add an RFP to your library to trigger AI-powered analysis. Saccharo extracts key details, evaluates requirements, and matches line items against your product catalog to generate a fit score.

    Review the AI-generated summary, fit score, and item matching to decide whether to pursue the opportunity. Download cover sheets, check requirement feasibility, and use the AI assistant for deeper analysis.

## Application modes

Saccharo offers two application modes depending on your organization's needs:

* **Discover mode** focuses on finding and qualifying RFPs. You get access to the Discover page, RFP Library, and basic analysis features.
* **Full mode** unlocks the complete feature set including the Dashboard, Knowledge Base, item matching, and requirements analysis.
