Saccharo AI operates in one of two application modes that determine which features are available. Your organization’s administrator configures the active mode.

What application modes are

Application modes control the scope of features available to your team. This allows organizations to start with a focused experience and expand capabilities as needed.

Discover mode

Discover mode provides a streamlined experience focused on finding and qualifying RFPs. Available features:
  • Discover page — browse and search RFPs
  • RFP Library — manage your analyzed RFPs
  • Upload RFP — upload documents for analysis
  • Summary tab — view AI-generated summaries and fit scores
  • Documents tab — view original RFP documents
  • Settings — manage your profile and organization
Hidden features:
  • Dashboard
  • Knowledge Base (price list, company information, custom requirements, custom fields)
  • Requirements tab (detailed view)
  • Item List tab
  • Item matching and match percentage

Full mode

Full mode unlocks the complete Saccharo AI feature set, including the Knowledge Base and advanced analysis capabilities. All Discover mode features, plus:
  • Dashboard — overview with metrics, heat map, and category charts
  • Knowledge Base — price list, company information, custom requirements, custom fields
  • Requirements tab — full requirements analysis with feasibility assessments
  • Item List tab — detailed item matching against your price list
  • Match percentage and item match table on the Summary tab

Switching modes

The application mode is configured at the organization level. Contact your administrator to change the active mode.
Throughout this documentation, features that are only available in Full mode are marked with a note. If you do not see a feature described in the docs, your organization may be in Discover mode.
