The Discover page is your starting point for finding RFPs. It displays a grid of RFP cards sourced from public procurement portals across the United States, with search, filter, and sorting controls to help you find relevant opportunities.

Page layout

The Discover page has three main areas:
  • Search bar at the top for keyword searches
  • Filter and sort controls below the search bar
  • RFP card grid showing matching results with pagination at the bottom

Searching by text

Type keywords into the search bar to find RFPs by title, description, agency, or location. Results update as you type. Clear the search field to return to the full listing.

Sorting

Use the sort dropdown to order results by:
  • Posted date — most recently posted first
  • Due date — soonest due date first
  • Title — alphabetical order
  • Agency — grouped by issuing agency

Filtering

The filter bar provides several ways to narrow your results:
  • Only Open — toggle this on to hide RFPs that are past their due date. This is enabled by default.
  • Match User Items — available in Full mode only. When enabled, this filters the list to show only RFPs that contain items matching your price list.
  • Item Temperature — filter by temperature classification (frozen, refrigerated, dry, etc.)
  • Item Type — filter by item type category
  • Product Type — filter by specific product categories
  • Service Type — filter by service categories
Combine multiple filters to create a targeted search. For example, enable Only Open and Match User Items, then select a specific Item Temperature to find open RFPs with products you already supply.

Understanding RFP cards

Each RFP card displays key information at a glance:
  • Title — the name of the solicitation
  • Agency — the issuing organization
  • Location — the state or region
  • Due date — the submission deadline
  • Status chips:
    • Open — the RFP is currently accepting responses
    • Closing Soon — the due date is approaching
    • Past Due — the submission deadline has passed
  • New badge — a “New” indicator appears on RFPs posted within the last 72 hours
  • Book icon — indicates the RFP is already in your library
Click any RFP card to open the detail modal where you can review the full description, attachments, and add the RFP to your library. See View RFP details for more information.

Pagination

Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the page to navigate through results. You can also adjust the number of results displayed per page.
