Custom extraction fields let you define additional data points that the AI should extract from every RFP it analyzes. This extends the standard extraction beyond the default fields.
The Knowledge Base is available in Full mode only. See Application modes for details.

What custom fields are

By default, the AI extracts a standard set of data from RFP documents (contacts, dates, requirements, items, etc.). Custom fields let you tell the AI to also look for specific information that matters to your organization. For example, you might create custom fields for:
  • “Minority participation percentage”
  • “Sustainability requirements”
  • “Performance bond amount”
  • “Contract renewal options”

Creating a custom field

1

Open the Custom Fields tab

Navigate to Knowledge Base in the sidebar and select the Custom Fields tab.
2

Define the field

Enter the field name and a description of what the AI should look for. The more specific your description, the more accurate the extraction.
3

Save

Click Save to add the field. It applies to all future RFP analyses.

Managing custom fields

  • Edit — update the field name or description
  • Delete — remove individual fields
  • Delete All — remove all custom fields at once

Where extracted data appears

Data extracted for your custom fields appears on the Details tab of each analyzed RFP. Each custom field value includes a citation linking to the source document location.
Custom fields apply to future analyses only. To extract custom field data from previously analyzed RFPs, re-run the analysis by clicking Re-qualify on the Summary tab.
