Custom requirements let you define your organization’s specific criteria that the AI checks against every RFP during analysis. This helps you quickly identify whether an opportunity aligns with your business needs.
The Knowledge Base is available in Full mode only. See Application modes for details.

What custom requirements are

Custom requirements are criteria you set that reflect your organization’s policies, capabilities, or preferences. For example:
  • “Must allow delivery within a 200-mile radius of our warehouse”
  • “Requires minimum $50,000 contract value”
  • “Must not require MBE certification”
When the AI analyzes an RFP, it evaluates the documents against each of your custom requirements and reports whether the RFP satisfies them.

How custom requirements appear in analysis

When you open the Requirements tab for an analyzed RFP, your custom requirements are included alongside the AI-extracted requirements. Each custom requirement shows a feasibility assessment indicating whether the RFP satisfies that criterion.
Start with your most important criteria — the deal-breakers that would prevent you from responding to an RFP. Common examples include:
  • Certification requirements (e.g., USDA, SQF, HACCP)
  • Insurance minimums (e.g., $1M general liability)
  • Delivery capability (e.g., cold chain logistics)
  • Set-aside eligibility (e.g., small business, veteran-owned)
