If you have an RFP document that is not available on a public procurement portal, you can upload it directly to Saccharo AI for analysis. This tutorial walks you through the upload process.

When to use manual upload

  • You received an RFP directly via email or a private portal
  • The RFP is not indexed by public procurement sites
  • You want to analyze a document from your own files

Steps

1

Go to the Upload tab

Navigate to RFP Library in the sidebar, then click the Upload RFP tab at the top of the page.
2

Enter RFP details

Fill in the required fields:
  • RFP name — a descriptive name for this opportunity
  • Source — where the RFP originated (e.g., “State of California”)
  • Source URL — a link to the original posting, if available
3

Upload your files

Drag and drop your files into the upload area, or click to browse your computer. You can upload multiple files for the same RFP (e.g., the main solicitation document plus addenda).
4

Select an AI model

Choose the AI model to use for analysis. The default model works well for most RFPs. Hover over each option to see a brief description of its strengths.
5

Submit

Click Submit to start the upload and analysis process. Your files are uploaded securely and the AI begins processing.
6

Monitor progress

Switch to the Library tab to see your submission in the list. The status column shows the current processing stage. The page updates automatically as processing progresses.
7

Open the analysis

Once processing is complete, click the RFP row in the library table to view the full analysis results.
Supported file types include PDF, Word documents (.docx), Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx), and plain text files. For best results, upload the original document format rather than scanned images.
If an RFP has multiple attachments, upload all of them together in a single submission. The AI considers all documents when generating the analysis.
